Ahhhhhh, not quite the total fix I had first thought.
It works fine with irix6.5 using v1.2 vfc but doesnt work on irix6.2
using v1.0 vfc.
I tried to install 1.2 vfc but only have this on an irix6.5 CDROM
(Foundation 2) and it complains that the 'inst' tool is unable to
install the vfc component.
I only have 6_2_vfc_1_0.tardist as a file and for some reason appear
unable to source a newer and hopefully irix6.2 compatible version from
the SGI Sup****t site.
I can, however copy the /usr/sbin/vfc exec from an irix6.5 disk to the
irix6.2 disk and it all appears to work!
