Sun equiv to SSE

by rb <rb@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 11, 2006 at 03:17 PM

Current versions of the CAD application I work with are no longer
available for Irix, so in expanding, it's not reasonable to add Octanes,
however much I might like working with them.

Solaris is sup****ted, so I plan to buy an approx equivalent to my SSE.
I've never used Sun equipment, and I wonder if anyone on this list can
recommend what Sun graphics board would be roughly comparable to the
SSE? I'm thinking Expert3D or Expert3d-Lite. I would be grateful for any
advice.
