Just for background information, Illustrator has a "Copy" option in its 
"Move" command which, instead of moving the selected object a given 
distance (H and/or V) makes a copy the given distance away.

Maybe the same option in one of the apps you're using?

Or, Select; Copy; Paste, Paste, Paste,. . .; apply an Align command.
