iPhoto and *vector* graphics?

by AES <siegman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 18, 2006 at 06:17 PM

Anyone have any advice and counsel (preferably experience-based!) on
using iPhoto as a primary organizer or database for mostly *vector*
graphics (that is, for EPS, Illustrator AI, and/or primarily vector
based PostScript and PDF files)?

I've used iView MediaPro for years as the primary organizer for my
collection of technical and scientific graphics because it's been around
for years; I know it well; it's to some extent aimed at this market; and
it's always worked very, very well for me.

Any strong reasons (other than general Mac compatibility) that I should
try iPhoto -- or is it really aimed more at the photo/raster image
market?
