Sorry bout that. I'd realized straight after I'd posted it.
Good news and bad news. I bought a video card from ebay and everything
worked fine for a while, but there is now another problem. When I press
the
on button to boot up, a blank screen immediately lights up as normal, then
goes dark for a few seconds (still normal?), then lights up again but with
a
fine 'newspaper dot screen' showing and that's how it stays. The only way
to
get round it is by zapping the pram when booting up, then it's ok.
It's annoying, but bearable for now. Could it be the battery?
