Hope this the right place...
We are considering getting a dSLR to replace the Current G3 and Nikon
FA.
Now, I fear this will mean a lot of extra expenses if we want to shoot
RAW.
Current Mac is a Cube (450Mhz, 586MB, 80GB), running 10.3. It has PS5
(Classic) and Graphic Converter (4.?) installed. Does all our ususal
stuff without problems.
I have a license for PS that would qualify for upgrade. But I have a
feeling the Cube would not be happy. And if we have to shell out for PS
upgrade + new (2nd hand) hw + iView (iPhoto is a bit restrictive) +
???, I think it would add up in an unpleasant way. As a cheapskate, do
I stick to JPG and do my measurements properly? Any suggestions?
