This is an exercise in the PBRT book. PBRT is free: http://www.pbrt.org/

Here's an assignment for a graduate-level course at Stanford:
http://graphics.stanford.edu/courses/cs348b-05/homework/hw3.html

It's not too hard to add this yourself. You just need to know how to 
reflect off of a sphere.
