RenderMan implementation comatibile with MinGW

by Przemyslaw Koprowski <org@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 9, 2006 at 05:49 PM

Hi,

Is there anywhere out a ready to use/download implementation of
RenderMan that comes together with libraries precompiled for MinGW?
I've read that Aqsis can be compiled with MinGW but the process
seems painful - lots of dependencies needed only to build it,
I would rather download a ready to use package (yeah I'm lazy "but
I'm not the only one :-).

I tried to use 3Delight but then, although MinGW sees the library,
(build for MicroSoft Visual C++) it has 'undefined reference' to all
the tokens (this was discussed here already three years ago).

Can anyone who managed to build Aqsis on MinGW share?
Are there any plans to make 3Delight work with MinGW?

Thanks in advance,
Przemek
