Output file in PovRay

by mau.salvi@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Feb 21, 2007 at 02:06 AM

Hi, I'm a newbie of povray...is there a function in povray for writing
a file that contains x,y, and z coordinates of the points of surfaces
that are rendered?
Pratically, i need a file that contains data of points evaluated by
povray for construct the viewed surfaces...i know that povray
construct this surfaces by trigonometrical operations working about
cells of a defined map, and calculate the intersections between camera
rays and x and y cell lines...isn't there a mode for "ex****t" the
coordinates of these intersection points?
thank you, bye!
