3D figure from 2D mathmatical function.

by "TJakobsen" <TJakobsenDK@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 19, 2006 at 10:16 AM

I got some 2D functions from a math projekt. The functions together
forms the half of a cup. Image the cup in a 2D coordinate system. When
you turn the functions around the x-axis you get a full 3D cup. Now,
I'm wondering if it is possible to get some 3D application to do this
job? I got access to 3D Studio Max, Lightwave and MatLAB.

Let me know if you don't understand what I mean and I'll see if I can
show you a picture.

Thanks.
