I have seen realistic gold/silver surface effects once in a research 
department of a bigger research institute decades ago. I was explained 
that time, that a realistic ****ny gold or silver surface requires a 
special non-standard display device, so it can't be achieved on hardware 
available in a computer shop. I think that in spite of the fact the 
display devices improved, it is still true today, so it makes no sense 
to ask how to achieve it by software.
