blender rendering help

by jonny_morrisuk@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Jan 8, 2006 at 06:09 AM

Hi!

I've looked high and low for a tutorial that *works* for doing
radiosity (final render) and caustics in blender, all seem to be for
older versions and obviously are missing crucial info for blender 2.40,
or they have neglected to include some settings they have altered to
make it work.

So far I've managed to get a glass material which looks OK, but no
caustics shadow; on the radiosity front I can solve it and get a
wire/gourard model which looks good but when I come to render it is way
too bright, no tutorial seems to offer help. What am I doing wrong?!
:(

So can anyone point me to an up to date tutorial or give me
step-by-step instructions for radiosity or caustics in blender 2.40?
It would be very much appreciated!! *pulls hair out!*
