Render mocap data on human model, for simulation

I need to perform some motion capture simulation where I take motion
capture data (mainly in bvh format) and render an animation of a human
model performing the moves. I will then later try to recreate the
skeletal motion based on the previous rendering. Sounds bacwards,
which it is, but it is for simulation and comparison of algorithms.

My problem is that I am unfamiliar with the various rendering packages
so a simple task becomes complicated.
I would therefore like to ask if someone could suggest an _easy_ tool
which lets me load a human model, bind it to mocap data and render the
model performing the mocapped moves. If the tool alows for cloth
simulation so the model can be clothed, then that would be a big plus.

I do not need any fancy graphics effects.. just the model moving and
an option to ex****t this as a video. Not even textures are a
requirement. Just a skinned model moving. I do need to be able to
reposition the camera myself though.
