Is this the best newsgroup in which to ask questions about TIFFs?
I have a couple of questions that I think are fairly basic. I am a
programmer and have done a little work now and then with TIFFs. I
currently
have a need to count the pages in a multi-page TIFF and find myself
stumped
because I do not know what a page is. The spec talks about pages but I
can
find no definition of what constitutes a page. Can someone please advise?
The spec defines an IFD entry that holds a page number. My second
question
is: is this a required item in multi-page TIFFs? (If the answer is yes
then, I realize, that may have a strong bearing on my first question.)
