activate and deactivate the video card while running xp

Hi!

As the title says, I'd like to know if there's a possibility to 
deactivate my video card in the PCI slot while Windows is running and 
activate it again if it's needed. My motivation is to save energy over 
the night and keep the machine cooler.
My video card is a GeForce 8800 GTS.
