Hello @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
all,
I would activate in MayaPLE 4.5 the plug-in for UnrealEd 3.0. Maya tryed
tho
load this and would start the UnrealEd. Then appears the following error
message:
Build UT2003_Build_[2003-04-07_17.42]
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
1012 MHz with 511MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS/GeForce2 Pro (4523)
Error setting display mode: CreateDevice failed (D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY).
Please delete your UT2003.ini file if this error prevents you from
starting
the game.

I have changed RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice to
RenderDevice=OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice. Then appers the message, that
UEd
need D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice, therefore I changed back to.
Then I deleted the UT2003.ini already several times and just updated also
to
the newest Detonator drivers (V45.23). Thoughtfull makes me the statement
D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY (I've 32MB on Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS), I've
both
programs independently started and both to run at the same time.
> Does Maya use any DirectX resources that can be disabled?
I think, Maya use only OpenGL. There is no way to change somthing about
displaying-methodes (like 3D Studio Max).
Txs for your help
