Yes, they do.  Setting either endpoint, for example, resets the middle
control points.  So set the middle gray point last.

There are some other restrictions - for example the gray dropper is
disabled in Lab mode, which is unfortunate because Lab is capable of
setting an excellent neutral.  

Curvemeister removes these restrictions, and adds the ability to pin to
arbitrary hues, multiple neutrals, and other features.
