How did that become the main issue?  The OP was looking for help with 
"graininess."  Please tell me how the small lens on a cell phone
contributes 
to graininess.  My comment was that the problem was likely due to 
underexposure.  The OP has since confirmed this by stating that his
outdoor 
photos do not have this problem.  Since he is going to e-mail the
