Copy and paste without creating new layer

by tonyjeffs <tonyjeffs2@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 24, 2008 at 01:32 PM

Is there a simple way to copy and paste within the same picture
without creating a new layer?
I'm currently doing a mundane task via repeatedly cycling thru 'copy,
past, flatten image'.
Thanks
Tony
