....There's been a couple of plugins that are supposed to provide
something akin to tubes, but I honestly wasn't impressed with them
when compared to PSP. Then again, the only time I use PSP for any
reason is if I need a background that's created with a particular
image tube, and then I im****t the image in CS2. My ten-year-old copy
of Painter - no, I don't have the can anymore, alas! - also did tubes
just as good. Why Adobe hasn't admitted defeat and added something
like tubes to Photoshop escapes me, but then again look how long it
took them to add any sort of scripting while..what was it? Photo
Publisher? That had full mouse sup****t scripting in 1994!
