Hi, Sorry I cannot replicate the problem. Here is what I tried.

1. Started with six Canon 1D Mark III RAW files and used image processor
to 
convert to PSD.

2. Used the batch rename feature in Bridge to rename to sequential number 
with three digits.

3. Opened one file in CS3 and choose SaveAs and the default file name doe 
snot change back to the original file name.

This is on Windows XP with CS3, version 10.0.1
