Remove ALL but the system fonts (arrange by date helps you see 
which is which) and see what happens.

PM7 was released only because 6.52 wouldn't run on XP. So maybe 
7 won't run on older Windows, 500 fonts or no fonts.

Are you one of those guys who gets the "latest" version no 
matter what?

BTW, get a font loader/manager. It is insane to have 200 or 
2,000 or 6,000 fonts loaded and in memory all the time. I 
recommend the one from Moon Software.
