Your suggestion of a full install is not an option here; just not enough
disk space to handle it. I looked at doing a 'custom' install, but none
of
the install options gave a hint as to having the picture palette in it.
Again, I assume that what was installed originally included the picture
palette; hence the ability to access it. Further more, why would Adobe
include it (with thumbnails of clip art and images) if it couldn't get to
the objects. The palette allows one to browse to other places to select
objects of their choice, but the drive and directory the thumbnails point
to
doesn't exist. It seems to be a waste to have those thumbnails in memory
and not be able to include them.
Not ranting at you, but just had to vent! I DO thank you for the reply.
