Yep. On the Mac is a set of radio button options rather than a
drop-down menu, but the option to "Save a copy in 6.5 format" does
exist ... which would suggest that the file formats aren't the same,
although it may only be the new features (the few there are?) in
PageMaker 7 that cause the difference.
As far as I can remember, every version of PageMaker has been able to
Save As to the file format of the previous version, but not any further
backwards.
