The file format for PM 7 and PM 6.5 are practically identical. So much
so that you can just change the file extension and be pretty sure it
will open.

Pagemaker is DEAD! InDesign blows it completely out of the water. Anyone
spending money on PM at this point is throwing good money after bad.
