I am working in a technical book with many photos, equations, tables,
etc. In order to prepare this publication, I use Pagemaker 6.5. All the
photos, tables and equations must be numbered. I must introduce the
number in the captation manually to achieve this purpose. I think this
is not the best procedure, specially if it is neccesary to insert a new
item (figure, equation, etc.).
Are there any plugin or spript that makes it automatically?
Must I choose other DTP software (like Framemaker) or must I use Latex
(I know something about it) to prepare the book (500 pages; 200 photos
and 75 equations)?
