Verify that your do***ent is ready to print, all images are in the correct
color space (Grayscale, CMYK or Spot), page size is correct, etc.
2 step process
File > Print. Select as your printer, Distiller or a postscript printer.
Select the appropriate PPD under your printer selection.
On the Paper tab, select an appropriate paper size.
On the Options tab, select "Write Postscript to file" and select a
destination.
On the Color tab, select Composite, select "Color" or "Print colors in
black" as appropriate for your publication.
Click "Save" and wait.
(You might set a page range of 1 on the Do***ent tab to get this stuff
right, than do the entire publication later)
I'm far from having Distiller 3.02, but the basics;
Set your "Settings", "Quality" or "Job Options" to High or Press. Make
sure
that Fonts are set to Embedd or Subset
Open the .ps file that Pagemaker created from distiller, or drag it into
Distillers window.
Distiller will create the .pdf file.
