Just remember folks, everything that everyone is currently complaining
about Vista doing and the constant
comparisons for XP are the same EXACT same things that went on back when
the battle was between XP and 2000.
And I have and use both XP and Vista.
I have to say, I now can't stand XP at all!!!!!!!!!!!!
It sucks!
It doesn't have all those nice little extras that are in Vista that I
now am completely spoiled on.
You can't open a browser window to search for a file from a program's
browser in XP
and be able to drag out the scale/size of that browser window.
To me, it's simple things like that that I've been personally waiting
for in Windows for years and years since I first started with NT4.
I far more love the whole file browsing experience in Vista over any
previous windows version, period.
When I'm in XP, I always find myself trying to do things that simply can
not be done in XP and it really grates on my nerves.

So, without getting into the whole this vs that sort of crap, I just
wanted to point out that there are loads of us out
here who very much appreciate the Vista format over ANY other crappy
previous Windows version released to date :)
And, all my programs run really nice too!
Some I think run better, but it's hard to say on that, since some things
screw up for no reason on any system LOL

As for that bit about Vista and the Mac commercial about always having
to get pestered with that moronic bit
for the so called Vista security, hey, I blame all the people out there
who are still working with Vista in that
default manor when they already are using perfectly fine security
systems on their Vista computers and others.
My point being, why the HELL don't people just turn that nonsense off
for crying out loud?!!
Instead of *****ing about how much it sucks all the time and stuff?!!
Sheesh LOL
Thats what I did.
Just go into your User settings and turn the stupid thing off and happy
life will come on the next reboot!!!
Simple as that!

I loved that commercial too, when I first got Vista, cuz it made me
laugh soo much, cuz it was sooo true!
But then of course, it really did annoy me in real life, so, I merely
disabled the idiot thing and happy days soon came :)

BTW, why does no one make comments about how XP (a decade + late since
it's release) is STILL putting out fixes!!!
Wa hahahaha, real great OS, right?
ZDNet posted a thing recently about how Vista, with all the complaining
about it's so called problems, has actually been the
FIRST ever Windows OS that has had virtually zero issues and thus barely
any patches, at least in comparison to XP and others.

I run all these programs all the time with no more issues then I would
get on XP or 200:

LW 7, 8, 9.xx, 9.5
PS CS3
Vue6 xStream
Poser 7
Modo 302
xFrog 3.5
Carrara Pro 6
Max 9
Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12
Logitek QuikCam
Registry Machanic 8
TrueImage backUp
Camtasia 5
DW CS3
Stitcher
and many, many more.

All of which run killer on Vista and my Quad Core Intel setup with 4gigs
RAM.

Thats my 2 cents :)

Nice to see a few people still hang out here sometimes, other then all
the spam I mean LOL
