Lightwave house in San Antonio

by "leo" <lr@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 13, 2007 at 09:06 PM

I am an old fan of lightwave, but recently started again to learn it almost

from scratch. I am an Amiga fan, when Lightwave came on oodles of floppie

disks. I have time on my side so that I can learn it again, but find the
Lightwave books (3) of them very hard to understand because I missed so
much
in between. Anyway, I visited NewTek company in San Antonio (since I live
close by). and that place is full of nostalgia. Each desk workstation of
the employees is like going to disney land, each with all sorts of toys
and
weird stuff. Employees get around the large one story building on
scooters,
and drink a lot of cokes. I met Jim Plant a few years back as he was
interviewing the creator of Jimmy Nutron at the Josephine theater when San

Antonio hosted Siggraph in 2002 or 2001.

Kiki still looks good!
