Just installed lightwave 9 for my principles of animations class
(southeast technical institute) and i can see how cheap my school is
now being there is version 9.3 out now. I'm glad I got a macbook pro
from school 2 gig ram - 2.2 GHz intel core duo - 800 MHz is the bus
speed - and one of my fav features other than the ambient light sensor/
tilt sensor (in case i drop the laptop it will shut off the drives to
prevent further damage) and the built in icam/mic -- the GeForce 8600M
GT and built in bluetooth & fire wireis what i love :D - never used a
mac before, but im getting used to it.
$2,010.00 through the school isnt a bad price - being it has parallels
(windows xp pro/and mac OS X 10.4.10) - Adobe Creative Suite 3
extended and various other software.
in all, i love graphic design which is what im getting my degree in
(graphic communications major with principles of animation degree to
tag along :D )
I havnt got to read through the groups posts yet - but ill skim
through and read em between cl***** (hour 2 kill between each class -
2 hours between one of em!)
Thanks for reading!
