x-x2-Axis non-linear relation

by Alexander.Haemmerle@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Aug 31, 2008 at 08:43 PM

Hi everybody,

is there a way to define the x2-axis (or y2-axis) in a non-linear relation
to the x-axis? I want to have something like the wavenumber of
electromagnetic radiation on the x-axis and on the x2-axis the wavelength
which is defined as 1/wavenmuber.
At the moment I'm giving the mirrored tics a different label, but as the
scaling between them has to be somehting like 1/x it doesn't look very
nice, because the tics aren't at whole number-positions.

Thank you,
Alex
