Printing with Gimp 2.5.x under Linux

by measekite <inkystinky@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 5, 2008 at 08:50 AM

When using the earlier version of Gimp 2.2 I installed a Canon PDD file
as a Postscript printer and used Gimp Gutenprint to print photos. The
dialog was not great but the print results as far as resolution and
color was acceptable and the photos did look good.

Here is my question:

Can the new version of Gimp 2.5.x print at least as good without major
issues?

If so how is it set up?

If not what do people do about printing photos with Gimp?

If not has these bugs been re****ted to Gimp Development?

How do you re****t bugs to the Gimp Development staff. When I quickly
looked a year ago it seemed like a complicated user unfriendly process.
The propeller heads think that all users need to be a developer to use
the product and re****t bugs.
