A bit late in responding because I have only just got everything working.
OS - Mepis 7
Gimp 2.5.4
Printer - Canon Pixma iP4500
Printer driver TurboPrint 1.96-4 - needs gimp-gutenprint installed.
Just been practising on 4x6 borderless while getting everything set up to
my liking. The TurboPrint driver has print options from 300 dpi up to 9600
dpi (seems to work) whereas the Canon drivers are stuck at 600 dpi for
everything.
