How do you convert a Mac Freehand graphic to an IBM EPS with a colored monitor image?

by foodshap@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Lorraine) Oct 1, 2003 at 01:16 PM

Hi,

I am a Freehand 7 user who creates a lot of complex illustrations that
I sell on CD-Rom for both Mac and IBM users. One format I convert the
art to is EPS (Actually, for Mac, I use Editable EPS). For IBM, it
seems like the MS DOS-EPS with a low resolution black and white
monitor image is the only option in Freehand 7. But I need an IBM EPS
image with a high resolution colored monitor image.

I am wondering if anyone knows a) if later versions of Mac Freehand
convert to an IBM EPS with a high resolution color monitor image, or
b) if there is some way the Mac Freehand file or editable EPS could be
opened in another program--even in Freehand on the PC-- and from there
ex****ted as a better IBM EPS with a more attractive monitor image.

Thanks,
Lorraine
