I have been following up on these labial, bestial, ***ual, and above
all worm-ridden posts.
I have had trouble getting anybody to do anything. That includes here
on the groups and at the virus checker companies.
INCLUDING AD_AWARE! OK? <G> It STILl does not pick up the one I had,
and sent them, and these things are now two weeks old at least!
If my notification of abuse@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
resulted in their, or
somebody's, sending a pretend virus fix, then I am sorry. It may have
happened anyway and been a setup right along.
SO. The best idea I have had suggested so far is to send an abuse
notification to abuse@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
(YOUR ISP).whatever.wherever. Mine has said that
if it can verify that abuse it will blacklist _any_ posts from the
"offending" source, both news and mail. We may miss something, but
also, it may produce some action upstream.
If you trust your own ISP then there is no risk, is there? If they
have no abuse site, or will not blacklist, then suggest they do.
Enough requests have got to produce some result!
IF ENOUGH PEOPLE DO THIS, IT WILL HELP STOP THIS CRAP!
