C4d is very easy to learn.  I used the 3d fluff tutorials 
(http://dvd.3dfluff.com/)
and that helped me get up and running in no 
time.  Lynda.com also has a very good tutorial 
(http://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modPage.asp?ID=307).
