Cinema4d & HDRI - no shadows in compositing background -

by Marco L. <xocram@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 16, 2005 at 05:00 AM

Hello to all group,
I'm sorry for my poor english (i'm italian),

I've a problem with Cinema4d and compositing background with HDRI.

I made HDRI scene (usually method).
I insert a background image (same place that i used for HDRI images)
I put a synthetic 3D object in the scene over a 3D plane.
I put a compositing tag in 3D plane to add the attribute 'compositing
background'.
The material for 3D plane is the same that i used for background
image, in frontal projection.

When i render scene all is rendered except the shadows of 3D Object
over 3D plane.
Without shadows the compositing of 3D synthetic object is incomplete
and false!!!

Why Cinema4D in HDRI don't render the shadows over a 'compositing
background' object (3d plane)????

Please help me!!!!!

Thank you for all helps and suggestions!!!

 Marco L.
