Maya 7: object loads, doeasn't display; window settings?

by gonzo <sfallen2002@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 13, 2007 at 04:56 AM

Greetings,

I have either a really big or really tiny object loaded into Maya; it
shows up in the outliner/HG window. When I select nodes, they appear
briefly and then disappear (view is zoomed/centered on obj). Am sure
this has something to do with fov/window settings, but so far nothing
I have played with has made any difference: near/far clip planes, fov
settings. I know the object is in the workspace, just can't see it in
the camera views! Help!

Thanks!
