Assuming your perspective window is active.
In the top left corner of your view****t...
Select -View... 
Select -Camera Attribute Editor
In the attribute Editor, with the perspShape Tab
  Under Camera Attributes
     Near Clip Plane should be 0.100   -as a default
     Far   Clip Plane should be 1000.0  -as a default 

You may have on older mel script that sets this parameter,
