OpenGL Scaling quality

by wpr <mlopes_filho@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 20, 2008 at 10:08 AM

Hello all,

I'm copying a video into a texture and showing it on my monitor in
full resolution.
The scaling is done by texture mapping and the quality is really bad.

Is there a way to tell OpenGL to scale things nicelly ? The orinal
video is 640x480 and I'm currently scaling it to 1920x1200, of course
keeping the aspect.

I've tried both linear and nearest but both seems to result in the
same bad quality.

I'm already thinking on resizing it before copying it to the texture,
but the performance penaulty might be too big.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks.
