How to install Inventor under Linux

by nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 19, 2006 at 09:00 AM

Hi all

I'm trying to install SGI Inventor under Linux (SuSE 9.3) and more
specifically the RPM provided by SGI.

The command "rpm -U --test sgi-OpenInventor-devel-2.1.5-10.i386.rpm"
returns
the following error :

error: Failed dependencies:
        libXm.so.1 is needed by sgi-OpenInventor-devel-2.1.5-10

But in my /usr/X11R6/lib I have a file called libXm.so.3.0.2 and two
symbolic link libXm.so.3 and libXm.so.1 to this file. What is wrong ? can
you please help me ?

Thank you in advance for your help
