I just discovered FontStruct, the new free online font creation site
from FontShop (URL below). Using a limited pool of basic shapes, you can
easily create and share TrueType fonts spanning several Unicode ranges
(sorry, no sup****t yet for IPA extensions).
I've already created a Latin/Cyrillic display font, based on a graph
paper design of mine from the waning days of eight-bit Atari computers
(1986-87). Search the gallery for "Vipond Octic".
