The very latest standard for fonts is OpenType, and it does sup****t the
TTF
extension for fotns containing bitmaps. You may wan to read more at
micsrosoft.com/tyography. The guys at Fontlab.com also create lots of good
conversion programs for bitmap. If am no so sure they have whan you
decribe,
