Question for everyone.

by Jenn <Jennashby@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 19, 2007 at 10:42 PM

I have a question for you all... I have been an artist for a relatively
a short time (4 years). I do all of the graphic, web, and flash work
for the company I work for, as well as some work on the side. This is
a new position for them( I've been here 4 months) so they are unaware
of how artists work, the software needed, and how we need desks
arranged. I pretty much work in a cube right in the middle of a bunch
of salesmen, and telephone representatives, my mouse is about a foot
higher than it should be, and they have said I cannot use ear buds to
drown out the noise. I go home with such bad shoulder and wrist aches
that it is becoming hard to sleep at night. On top of all this, the
have supplied a dinosaur computer and old old software. I get made fun
of for being 'expensive' when I've asked for a newer version of
things.

So my question is, how do I go about saying something? No one here is
even remotely aware of how graphic artists work. I've been in the
field long enough to know that most other graphic artists and
programmers aren't subjected to this... or are they?
