Here's my recommendation to you, based on my own experience.
I purchased a tablet by Genius, model Pensketch 9x12 that has 1024
resolution.
I use it with my PC, but it has both drivers for PC and Mac.
If you need to get Photoshop, the package includes a full version of
Photoshop Elements (which worked great for me)
I know that Genius has other smaller models, 8x6 and even smaller if
you need them.
