I have Illustrator CS and when I open a .wmf file it shows in the
layers pallet but I have to zoom way, way out I mean to something like
16% whereupon the art board is barely even visible anymore and
there's the file up in the left hand corner completely off of
everything.
I have to drag it to where I think the art board is and start zooming
back in until finally I see that the file is giant compared to the art
board itself. At that point I scale it down and ex****t it in
Illustrator CS .wmf format over-writing the original file but when I
go to re-open the file bam! the same thing happen again. What's up
with that?. Hey, don't get me wrong I mean I'm not losing sleep over
it and there's good 'ol .eps which works fine but still I'd like know
if it's a bug why's it bugging me.
At first I thought is was a bad file but not even; because it does it
to all and any .wmf files I open. These are clip-art files that I save
from generous folk that post to another newsgroup.
I've tried looking up the problem at Adobe but no joy there. Anyone
else ever encounter this strange anomalous vexation please do tell.
