I have two questions, please, regarding Illustrator 10.
One book I have says that to find the preferences file go to the
WINDOWS\Application Data\Illustrator 10 folder. But that folder is not
on my computer. If someone could tell me the name of the file I am
looking for, then I could probably find it. I once heard that the
filename is aiprefs, and I did a search for that but could not find it.
Second, is it possible to make a text box -- in other words text
surrounded by a visible rectangle or rounded rectangle? This should be
easy, I suppose, but the only thing that I can figure out how to do is
make an invisible text box inside of which the text is contained.
