Well, upgraded my system to a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 2 GHz cpu (that's a
dual
core one).
With the previous CPU (AMD Athlon 64 3500 2.2 GHz) my testfile (on Bryce6)
took 12min 04sec ... now with the dual core CPU it's at 07min 23sec :-))
That really makes a difference!!
Now for some shameless promotion ;-) : 32 results sofar on the Bryce
Speedtest site: results ranging from 04min 11sec to 46min 52sec.

to see the differences :-)
Also curious to see what your system is up to in comparison to others?
