path problems

by "artboy" <artboy@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 21, 2005 at 10:49 PM

Hi. I'm new to this group, but hope someone can be of assistance.
I'm currently involved in a fairly large (for me) project. It involves a
virtual structure, lots of textures and lighting effects, very long render

times.
My poor old computer is nearly spinning out with the memory demands.
All this is no problem...BUT...
I'm trying to make a flythrough animation of this, which, of course, means

animating the camera rather than objects.
My problem is: I can't seem to get the camera to where I want to start the

action without the bloody path following me wherever I go!
I've tried removing keyframes, with limited success. The camera wants to
hang on to this path no matter what I try. Since nothing else to do with
Bryce is this hard, I know I'm missing something. I've tried auto key on
and
off, with no success.
I would just start over, if there weren't so much work already invested
here.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Greg
