Painter help

'Insufficient space on disk for file' is the message I get whenever I 
try to save something I have worked on.
It happens both with P7 and P8.
I have a Mac and running OSX.
I have deleted the scripts file and trashed the pre built brush folder.
Anyone out there that can help me?
